Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. It seems unlikely that life would not exist anywhere else in the universe. Whether this life is intelligent or not is another question. The question about when and how humans will discover it can not be answered. The benefits could be new technology, examples of the dangers can be seen in 90% of the sci-fi movies made in the last century.

3. I have spare CPU time. I have no views yet, since I just downloaded and started the client.
