| I am an ordinary 31 yo Spanish: Dark-haired, brown eyes... but not very fond of Flamenco, bullfighting and those silly clichés. I like taking photos and reading ( I read almost every impressed text near me -is it serious, doctor?-). I listen to a great variety of musical styles (from House to Jazz, but mainly symphonic rock). And I like, of course, contemplating a starry night and I always wonder.... Are we alone? |

I am absolutely convinced that ET life exists, but I am not sure if that ET life will be "intelligent" in a human scale (Probably there are a lot of worlds full of simple forms of life, like bacteriae). And, after all, if there is an outter space civilization... will its members be interested in contact us, simple humanoids who are trying to destroy our own planet ASAP? But if one day those worlds meet, I do hope that benefits-to-come will be bigger than dangers.
A beacon? Yes, something like "We´re humans: handle with care" :)We could send plenty of images of our planet, of us, brief scientific and technic memoranda, some literature, art....
I run SETI@Home because i think it´s a useful way to help, though my PC is a snailish PII and I cannot process as information as I wish, but that´s the SETI philosophy, isn´t it?
