A Superstar in the Body of a Twelve-year-old.
VWG
She is an accomplished swimmer, runner, basketball player, and actress. Twelve-year-old VWG has the mind, spirit, grades, and personality of a superstar.
VWG is a seventh grader at Beachwood Middle School in Beachwood, Ohio. She has beautiful brown-green eyes and curly black hair. VWG knows a lot about Broadway Musicals, computers, cross-country track and field, and swimming.
Some special things in her life that she cherishes are her mom, Maureen; her dad, Joseph; her great athletic ability; her singing voice; her acting ability; her friends (of which she has many); and her basketball card collection.
VWG doesn't like to brag, but she is good at swimming, running, talking, singing, acting, joking around, and riding her bike.
Some of the things that VWG rejects are bananas, milk, dresses, eggs, uncooked broccoli, and dark chocolate.
VWG has a family that is different than that of most of her classmates. VWG's mother is African-American and her father is Caucasian. Her mom was born in Jamaica and her father was born in Arkansas. VWG was born in California.
If VWG knew that she only had one year to live she would go to Australia, go to Disney World, and go back to California and see all of her old friends.
Some unusual things have happened to VWG. In 1998 she came in third place in a two mile race against all adults. On Christmas Eve in 1993 her fence caught fire and she was the hero because she told her parents to call 9-1-1, which they did. Firemen from the local firehouse responded and extinguished the fire – thanks to VWG.
One thing that VWG would like to tell the world is, "Be yourself. You will never have any friends if you try to be something that you aren't."
VWG is an extra-ordinary girl, and she is living proof that bigger is not always better.
