Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1: Actually I dont think there is life to find, however that is just my opinion. Im not one for faith. When its a proven fact to the best of our knowledge and ability, ill belive, till then its a theory. Why bother with this you may ask? Well, just because I dont think theres anyone to find, dosent mean thet their not there, its no excuse not to look, or well definatly never know the answer!

I think if there was life than we would already know. Or, possibly the problems involved with large scale travel and communication in space are insermountable, making us practicaly isolated even if not alone.

Also I have considered that if the universe was full of life it would not have developed everwere at the same time, at the same rate. Mabey we are the first life? Mabey cosmic diversity will come from us?

3: SETI@home is a stunning use of the internet and spair computer time. Its absolutly inspired! More progects should use this format, its a fantastic use of the internet and technology and also has an educational benifit.
