Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Answer Q1: I do not think that we are the only ones in the Universe, so yes I do think extraterrestrials exist. It’s hard to say when the human race will discover other life forms, if I was to take a guess, it’s when our technology improves to the point of getting from point A to point B in days, weeks or months but not years, and that goes for the other life forms where ever they are from. The benefits are what we might be able to learn such as advanced technology; the dangers are that they might turn out like some of the Leaders in some of the countries on this world who are greedy and want to take over or eliminate the people.

Answer Q2: Yes. We are a human race with problems, but would like them to contact us anyway.

Answer Q3: I wanted to help in anyway possible to speed up the amount of time it will take to find another life form, and while my slow PC is sitting idle it just made sense to putting it to work on a project that might make a difference.
