I love science, reading science fiction and playing soccer. I have worked at an IT professional in Higher Education for more than 25 years. I am currently working with our Biology Field Station on becoming a LTERB (Long Term Environmental Research Biology) Center.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yes I think extraterrestrial life exists. I believe we will discover such life in the next 200 years, although it may be longer before we can actually communicate with it.
I run SETI@home on all the systems in our Technology Center because the idea of shared CPU use over the Internet interests me.
