I'm 42 years old, and a mother. I work at a large US bank
teaching customers how to point and click their way to
their account information on line. I garden organicly,
cross stitch, read, and grow roses. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I don't know if there is life on other planets.
But we will never find out if we don't search
and listen for it, will we?
Benifits would be a sharing of information
about the galaxy around us, dangers would be
loosing our resources, lives or freedom to invasion.
I think a simple beacon would be a good idea, but
keep the message simple-- nothing more than
"Yes, we're here".
I run SETI@Home because it makes me part of a
larger whole, and it also is a good way to learn
about my computer.
