Personal background
Hello, my name is Manfred Schulte. I live in Germany. My hobbies are astronomy, science and computers. At home i have a small telescope. My Computer is an Apple iMac.

The picture i added, believe it or not , it´s me 1 year old (1965).
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I became interested in Seti@home 2 years ago because of a TV-Show on german television called "neues - die computer-show". It was 14 days before the project started.
I run seti@home because it is a exiting way to do science work at home with your computer. It combines astronomie, sience and computer work.
If a signal is discovered i hope it will detected by a seti@home user.
I think that we are not alone in our galaxy. To search for them is very exiting.
If we could find them it will be the greatest adventure ever. Hopefully friendly .
I run 2 versions on my iMac one for MacOS X (Seti Classic) and the new boinc client for Mac.
In future versions of the client it would be nice, as an option, to hear what is being analysed.
Thank you Seti-Team for supporting Mac OSX.
