| I'm a 25 year old mother of 2 who loves space and anything sci-fi. I am a stay at home mom so being a part of seti is my way of contributing to the world until the time comes when my kids are old enough for me to be comfortable to rejoin the world and dedicate myself to saving our planet by teaching ecologically sustainable practices and love of our earth. |

| I have always thought that life existed elsewhere in the universe..I mean, why wouldn't it? With countless planets in the universe, the opportunity exists for all types of lifeforms. I think anyone who finds us as they are exploring the universe, will be evolved enough that they would not conceive of bringing harm to our race, I think the benefits of seti@home are significant considering what the outcome could be for the future of out planet. And condsidering the damage being done to the earth right now, if we don't find ourselves some space friends or find a habitable planet to colonize soon, we just might succeed in wiping ourselves out in the next few hundred years. Wouldn't that be really sad? |
