| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I believe that there is extraterrestrial life, because they have already been here and left their signs and clues. When they think that we (the human race) are ready, and think that we can handle the massive knowledge that they offer.
The benefits will be astronomical. Then there will be cures for all of the disease's of this world as we know it. The technology will be out of this world.
The dangers would be, that some governments would use this knowledge for the wrong reason. Insted of using it for the good of man, some would use it for the destruction of life as we know it.
I think we should send a beacon, with information on how far we have advanced.
I run SETI@home to help find intellegant life out there. I think that this project is outstanding, if i could do more I would dedicate all the time that I could. |
