I'm a married 47 yr.old male with two children.Have been with the same mining
company for 27 yrs.I've lived most of my life here in Ontario,Canada.
We have excellent fishing and a clear view of skies;lower light pollution.
Being an avid reader,especially S F, the stars have always been a huge
attraction to me.Having been familiar with the SETI program for a while,
I eagerly signed up with SETI@home as soon as I discovered it. |

Considering the number of galaxies and stars out there,I think the odds of
finding one or more ET. are very good.Because of the size of the search,
it could take quite along time.Hopefully in my lifetime,we will find something,but I'm not holdimg my breath.
Such a find will probably cause upheaval in our society(political ,religious)
but believe in the end,it will be a positive outcome.As for sending a beacon
for others to find I haven't made up my mind on that.We have been sending
radio signals out for decades now so maybe we should wait.
I was thrilled to be able to participate in this project and contribute a
bit of my time to this worthwhile effort.Since I have extra RAM I run full time.
