| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I am part of this project, because I believe there is life out there. Although I don't expect SETI to find ET within the next 100 years, I hope so. And I'm almost absolutely sure, ET lifeforms are not bad, evil or willing to suppress us, because any civilization of intelligent beings has to undertake a giant work to go to space, to communicate with us or to meet us (what would be necessary before they could suppress us). And after all of this work, they come over, kill all human lifeforms and fly back??? ;-)
And, if this does not convince you: Has E.T. been evil? Does he even looked like being able to be evil? So, you see... |
