Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Well now why do i run SETI@home? i suppose its that our universe is a vast expanse and there are new planets being discovered all the time of similar type to our earth and since the times of the caveman the possibility of other life has always been a question.
Why do i run SETI? the answer is simple....it gives the ordinary person the chance to help and be involved in this great search, do i believe there is other life like our own in the universe? yes it stands to reason that there has to be....we just havent found it yet.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
