Profile: instant jim

Personal background
Fought many battles in life...killed many men...and loved only one woman. Well, some of that is true.

Now I am disabled from working, but not living. Dad gave me the nickname Instant Jim as a child. I wanted results from any endeavor instantly...and now here I am waiting for a signal from space...
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Running SETI@home offers regular folks like me the opportunity to join in the search - to be a part of something that could potentially lead to our greatest discovery - SETI@home makes one feel like part of the team.

I'm hoping to see a continual expansion and a rapid evolving in SETI's capabilities and support...love to see more positive public awareness of SETI, especially in our children's schools..."they" are the future of SETI.
