Ever since I was a very small boy I have been interested in space. Now that I am over 40 space still holds a huge fascination for me. I was born and raised in the great State of Texas. My current occupation is with the state attorney's office. I love to work with new technologies having to do with Artificial Intelligence. I feel it is only a matter of time before we will have humanoid type machines to work and play with. My newest hobby is my new little Christmas baby Sarah. She is now the light of my life. I can't wait to get her involved with seti;-)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I honestly do believe that we are not alone in this huge universe and that extraterrestrial life exist somewhere out there. Humankind will not be able to find sentient life until we can get ships to exceed the speed of light or until we can get someone's attention and they come to us. (Let's hope they are friendly). I have been running SETI@home ever since 1999 and will probably run it for the rest of my life or until they terminate this project. I feel that all 5 million plus of the SETI@home users are making a valuable contribution to science and to Humankinds next steps. Distributing computing is a brilliant idea and can only lead to bigger and greater leaps in technology.
