Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
-> 1.:Count the galaxies and all the stars with their planets and the result of all possibilities wich can happen on their surface. It's simple maths: There MUST be live out there, but it could be in another epoque or phase. Either e.t. live ist too primitive or they have all the trouble just behind them. Perhaps we humans are still too primitive at this time.
-> 2.: What could be the reason to travel this large distances to us? No, it can't be "Just say hello". Be aware, in the best case somekind of Columbus or Vasco da Gama could sit in this UFO, in the worst case somekind of Alexander The Great, Attila etc. Anyway—both of this kind of guys would first put their flag on our earth, like we did before, and ask at second. -> We should shut our mouth. Don't send anything!
-> 3.: It would be very nice, if E.T. would say something. We need to know urgently, that we're not allone. This could change the way of sight of our world population. It could make more peace on earth, all humans would work together to be prepared for the first visit wich COULD be NOT friendly.
