I`m a 36 year old male from the time I was a child I had a feeling that we are not alone and still do.
I also believe that advanced life forms might have already been here. There are things in this universe that we are not even close to understanding including forms of detection and communication.
I think we would only find technologically similar ETs with our current methods. If advanced beings don't want us to detect them then we will not.
In a vastly old and large universe life must have evolved somewhere other then earth.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run seti@home because there is still the possibility to detect beings of lesser or similar technologies. Any greater beings will be detected because they want us to.
