In answer to three questions;
1-9Yes, I think extraterrestrial life exists. If there are some ones beyond the universe -I belive there are other systems outside our universe-.In my opinion there are many answers for existing lifes somewhere but there must be no answer for the statement \\" There is no extraterrestrial life within the universe\\". But I\\'m afraid we will not be able to discover them some day. I mean peer to peer connection is impossible in my opinion because our world time not enough for this if all the universe were created at the same time. May be we can think that we can get some signals from extraterrestrial life from a dead system. But human life probably will not be long enough for this unfortunately. We must think about light velosity. Possible benefits of such a discovery, a new age will start for world history and the good thing is then people of the world will recognize that where they came from. In my opinion there shouldnt be any danger..On the other hand some values for human being can loose their meanings maybe.
2-9Yes, we can transmit a beacon for others to find and they can find it maybe after 5 billion light years who knows it. We can send any information for others because they are able to understand any information right now just like us.
3-9Because I belive that someones out there trying to find extraterrestrial life and they believe that we are here. I think seti@home project can continue for many centuries but and again there is a hope for us, may be tomorrow we can discover a strange signals why not? Thats why I run seti@home. We must keep going for the project. Thats my suggestion.
