2) Questions and Answers : Preferences : Data Storage (Message 1025078) Posted 14 Aug 2010 by Marc B. Nashaat Post: I'm just curious: are work units stored on the users computer permanently? If not does the utility automatically create a destination to which it saves the units? Or are they scattered throughout temporary/system files? I think this project is a great idea and more than willing to leave it running for the rest of my human life but in order to do this i need to make sure whatever BOINC is downloading is constantly being deleted immediately after re-transfer to SETI servers.
