Putting illegals in prison would not do much good and would cost the country much more than it would save. The people that need to be punished severaly are the people and companies that hire the illegals. If the penalty for employing illegals far out weaighs the savings made by hiring them, the jobs would cease.
I know we have laws on thwe books now, but they should actually be enforced, and in my opinion, made harsher.

I'm thinking that the Linux advocates that are also Microsoft haters will have a collective heart attack when/if MS ever puts out a distro of Linux.
If MS dos, I suspect it will be the best distro ever released, or at least the most user friendly.

THe cc_config file fixed it, only weird thing is that boic still reports both cards are 250's when one actually is a 260.

Hi,
After ignoring my crunchers for the summer I decided to get them all working correctly.
I find that the Vista 64bit machine, using 6.6.36, and the lunitics installer I only get one GPU crunching.
I'm sure this has been hashed over before, but I can't seem to find it.
I know I need to post a config file but for the life of me I can't remember what file it is I need to post.
Help would be appreciated

Worked perfectly. Couple quaestions though. Firstly, isn't there a optimized cuda app that's better to use and secondly, is the flops entry really neccesary ?

Greetings!

I have downloaded the AK_V8 files and am intending on installing it. Is this the correct ver for this 4720228 machine? It has ssse3 avail;able. I also have 2 cuda devices and need to know the best cuda app to use. The folling is the app_info.xml I will use but I suspect it will need changes to use cuda. Would someone be so kind as to show me the mods needed to it for the correct cuda app.

I'm having much the same thing with the 64 bit. One of the cars isn't used. What file and what changes do I need to make to enable the 2nd card ?

Greetings!
I'm running Boinc 6.6.26 and have a Nvidia 260 and a have added a Nvidia 250 int this (4720228) machine.
When I start up boinc it now sees both cards as a 250 and says one of them is not used. The GFlops for the 260 was much higher than the 250 but both are now rated at 84GFLOPS.

Any ideas how to enable the new device and how to make it see the 260 with its' higher gflops as the right card ?

I know the "Measured integer speed"is much more than with a 32bit system. Whether or not that relates to crunching, I'm not sure but I think so otherwise why would it be included in the benchmarks?

Finally got to the 250K work done and 10K rac!!!

Congrats to you Snake!

I noticed you last night as I was researching for my own post to this forum. You are one of only (as of last night) 8 Users to have signed up this year with a higher RAC than mine. I'll be back in 2 days with my own Milestone post.

Well, I did start a month before you, I'm sure you'll catch up!

I'm not seeing another rise in pending credits at this time.

I'm usually sitting on 23k to 26K and I'm within those numbers now.

During the server problems I got to around 47K.

Perhaps your wingmen are at the tavern or something :)
