Post: I have an OS2 machine that is not doing much at the moment. In one of the stats pages I saw there are 176 OS2 machnes. Could someone please point me to where (if available) I may get a Boinc and Seti@home for this OS? Thanx, Toppie. |

hanging for hours

Post: Does anyone else, with dial up connections, have the same experience? When trying to download units it takes many hours for even a few units to get done since they all are hanging units. Jip...and it cost me a fortune because in South-Africa you pay even if you phone your neighbour next door. Enabling and disabling network activity in Boinc sometimes helped. Getting broadband with 24/7 access solved that problem for me. Now I just wait it out. |
