This is funny, I reset my preferences to

Use no more than 100 GB
Leave at least .2 GB
Use no more than 95% of total space

This seesm to be working now. So I'm going to guess there is some sort of issue with the use no more than pref in linux perhaps. Anyhow I downloaded my first boinc wu's today af ter trying for a week.

I have the same problem with redhat 9. I've tried everything from 100mb to

now
Use no more than 2.5 GB
Leave at least 1 GB
Use no more than 90% of total space

I wonder if this is some sort of unix compatability issue, i'm running the latest client, wish I could download an older version to try.

I would also like to see something from the admins telling us, we are aware and are working on it. Right now I don't know if anyone is paying attention.

I set it to
Use no more than 2.5 GB
Leave at least 1 GB
Use no more than 90% of total space

Shouldn't this be enough, it still doesn't work.

I can understand how you feel. I've been trying to get boinc working on my linux box for a week. All it keeps teling me is that I don't have enought disk space. Is 2 gigs enough I ask you. I have tried several combinations, nothing seems to work. I just wish someone would give me an answer beside adjust your prefs again. I keeep adjusting but it still says no work not enough disk space. I won't stop tunning seti, I still run classic on my windows box. However its a little frustrating.

I have tried several different combinations, but no matter what I do, I still get the message.

Message from server: No work available (there was work but you don't have enough disk space allocated).

I am currently set at.

total .6
leave .1
max 90%

I have a 9 gig partition with 4.5 gig free.
