Winning after the dentist and DMV, and b4 the outrage...

Kinda surprised...DMV only took 5 minutes...dentist took an hour...

DMV took 5 minutes? Online It took Me less than a minute to get the needed info filed with the DMV, Now I have My Yellow sticker and I've paid My share of the Arnold Tax.

I needed a new pic...old license expires on Saturday...this one is good for 8 years now...

Well Mine hasn't needed any changes still, I must age slower, Hairs still blond and I've only got a little bit of grey in the beard(chin area). Internet for Me is flaky. Verizon says It works and yet a technician is supposed to be sent out.

In Wisconsin the license expires after 8 years and you have to go in for a new pic and eye test...glad I passed...but then again, it is only a DMV eye test...

Well.....got some things done.
Mowed the lawn and swapped the new battery into the RX7....
A couple of cranks and she was off and running!
Warmed it up and drove it to the station for a fresh tank of gas. My, oh my, I had almost forgotten how much fun that little beast was to drive! The 4:11 gearset I upgraded to when I had the posi diff rebuilt a few years ago doesn't hurt any.
Doesn't seem much worse for the wear after sitting for 2 years...a little rust on the brake rotors that you can feel through the pedal a little bit, but that should burnish off. The clutch feels just fine.
Meow!!!!

Better be checking the oil too.

Oh yah.....topped it off with a fresh quart of synthetic mix. Was changed not too long before I parked it, still looks clean and clear. No bubbles or milkiness, so there was no appreciable moisture problem in the motor.
Took it for a long cruise to circulate everything thoroughly.
Ran out just as sweet as ever.

I thought I heard a sonic boom....good news on the car, Mark...

My old truck had 4.11 gears in the back...was very easy to break them loose, even with the limited HP that truck had....

Good morning Andy, Mike, SJ.

We now have a day that has been declared by employer as "email cleanup day." No meetings allowed, only deleting emails. :-) Talk about increasing productivity.

My inbox is sitting at 5396 items right now...but I just got rid of 300 out of the deleted box...so that is progress...

Winning after getting a haircut, running to the hardware store, and replacing a bad light switch without turning the breaker off (some of my crunchers are on that circuit).

You electricians always like to play with fire, eh??

Bzzzzzzpt....

I've done that, One wire at a time, no sweat, I've also turned a GFI outlet right side up without doing anything more than taking the face plate off and removing and reinstalling a couple of screws that hold It to the box. :D

I will change a switch, outlet, or light fixture, but only if the breaker is off...I don't like that tingling feeling...and I think 120v is worse than 240v...

Actually in Houses here in the US, 240vac is actually two 120v circuits run in parallel @ 60Hz. 240v in Europe would be worse I'd think as Its twice the volts and @ 50Hz. Some of this is above My head -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alternating_current.

I have encountered the 240v 3 phase at my shop...not good to be the conductor between the live wire and the ground....
