I wonder how many manufacturers would have offerred a bike buy back program willy nilly?

I do know alot of PO'd R6 owners....

If the manufacturers are in a bind I’m sure any of them would do some thing. We only had one guy bring his back. I think that it’s hard for people to use the full potential of the modern sport bike of today. But they are still selling, just not at the rate they once was. People don’t understand that most bikes don’t make peak hp up to the damn thing anyway. For the most part engines are made so that most of the peak hp is usually 1k or 1.5k below that little line and anything past that and you are just wasting time. Now if you are racing, and got extra goodies inside, that’s a different story.

Yeah I got a big chuckle out of that problem with the R6..Yama did do their customers right though with the buy-back offer on the scoots. I wonder what made them think it would do 17K ?

Ah, the marvel of the engineering minds at Yamaha. Slip of the mouse at the computer. It’s just like them to re-invent the BNG. Just change it to BND.

BNG = Bold New Graphics
BND = Bold New Dash

LOL, Did you really need it to get over that 186 mark?

For me it's not about how fast but that's all that G.P. (general public) want to bitch about. With all manufacturers wanting to claim the top speed war, that it won't do faster than that speed (thanks to dot). Not to mention the big R6 redline fiasco this year.

I didn't think I had a picture of my obligatory liter bike killer but here it is, hehe.....

Did you hear about Suzuki's concept Hayabusa? 570 bhp. 1500cc super charged.

Too bad it will probably never come into the states doing over 186 MPH from Suzuki. I'm having flashbacks of the ZX12 now with the ZX14 about that very same 186 MPH thing.

Never got into smoking. I'd rather drink lots of red bull before draging body parts at triple digit speeds while on two wheels for hours on end. Best drug ever!

It's almost like another job just to keep them all going isn't it?

Once you get past the 500k mark, you can look forward to the big 7 digit mark.

Keep up the good work!

I think the staff are trying to figure out how to keep the survivors on the island just long enough so that only one remains, only to discover that he/she wins US$1,000,000 for playing "Survivor: Middle of Nowhere"

You just want to see one of them drive off in a new Jeep.

Perhaps, but one of the things that got me hooked on SG1 happened to be Dr. Daniel Jackson. When he was gone my interest waned quite a bit.

But that was for only one season, and yet he was even in episodes that very season.

Now where is this going to get me............

Haughty Intellectual

You are 100% Rational, 0% Extroverted, 42% Brutal, and 57% Arrogant.
You are the Haughty Intellectual. You are a very rational person, emphasizing logic over emotion, and you are also rather arrogant and self-aggrandizing. You probably think of yourself as an intellectual, and you would like everyone to know it. Not only that, but you also tend to look down on others, thinking yourself better than them. You could possibly have an unhealthy obsession with yourself as well, thus causing everyone to hate you for being such an elitist twat. On top of all that, you are also introverted and gentle. This means that you are just a quiet thinker who wants fame and recognition, in all likelihood. Like so many countless pseudo-intellectuals swarming around vacuous internet forums to discuss worthless political issues, your kind is a scourge upon humanity, blathering and blathering on and on about all kinds of boring crap. If your personality could be sculpted, the resulting piece would be Rodin's "The Thinker"--although I am absolutely positive that you are not nearly as muscular or naked as that statue. Rather lacking in emotion, introspective, gentle, and arrogant, you are most certainly a Haughty Intellectual! And, most likely, you will never achieve the recognition or fame you so desire! But no worries!

To put it less negatively:

1. You are more RATIONAL than intuitive.

2. You are more INTROVERTED than extroverted.

3. You are more GENTLE than brutal.

4. You are more ARROGANT than humble.

Compatibility:

Your exact opposite is the Schoolyard Bully. (Bullies like to beat up nerds, after all.)

Other personalities you would probably get along with are the Braggart, the Hand-Raiser, and the Robot.
