As a Seti@home and later a BOINC subscriber since Sep 10, 1999 I am upset that Seti is going down.

I saw that you cannot involve us in the analysis as that needs a supercomputer, but still it does hurt that our machines will go silent very soon wrt Seti. Hopefully your analysis will show something interesting and we will restart Seti or some semblance thereof.

I have been proud to work on this project. I agree with an earlier poster that it would be very nice to have a Seti final certificate available that would be suitable for posting for those of us that wish to do so.

Good luck with the data analysis and I shall continue crunching until the bitter end.

Someone suggested making the paper that you will be developing made available to Seti crunchers. I think that would be a good idea. Make a pdf version available after you have published your article. As an Engineer I would be very interested in viewing the culmination of over 20 years of work by all of us Seti crunchers.
