a few things I would like to see after running boinc for 4 days now: 1) when watching graphics and the wu ends, let the graphics start up automically on the new wu. 2) For the graphics, PLEASE stop it from rotating vertically so much. I like being able to read the panels but it rotates so much I cant read it and it is very annoying. I know I can move it with my mouse but I wish the option was there for NO rotation. 3) on the messages tab, give an option to clear it out 4) on messages tab, have it automatically scroll to the bottom of the list so I dont have to manually scroll down all the time. 5) A help menu to explain what all the features mean and do... there are several things I am nervous about doing because I dont know what they mean. ie - reset project thanks ttyl Jeff |

I know I can move it with my mouse but I wish the option was there for NO rotation. There is a setting for this. The settings for the graphics are available on the web site in the "Your account" area. They are divided into general and project settings. The graphics settings are project settings. Edit the project settings, select custom graphics. Save the settings. Edit the settings again, and change the horizontal and vertical swing limits. Save the settings. On your client update from the project to test your settings. Eventually, all of the servers in your farm will get the settings automatically. |
