It is surely very sunny above this impenetrably thick blanket of cloud cover. At least this time the grey fluffy stuff is flying a little above the ground! See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Bought a new mattress, First item on the installation instructions, I hope you don’t end up like Mrs. Hufnagnel on St. Elsewhere. The bed malfunctioned and both ends went up like a taco and she was the filling. |

... First item on the installation instructions, I've seen instructions where the first item sternly reads: "Complete ALL steps in this procedure." ... And then two monkeys rushed off for lunch at the stroke of noon with no hand-over to their sign-off monkey... There was some surprise as to why the newly installed system didn't get up to pressure and why there was some very expensive damage developing very quickly and getting ever more expensive by the second... Afterwards, there was a very time consuming clean up needed. There was the last instruction on the back of the last page instructing to close off the assembly purge/vent valve. All very unnecessarily silly. Hey ho! (All the more silly for that job being unsupervised, and non-checked. But then again, the job was so every-day mundane that noone believed such damage could be done by fitters...) There's only a few hours of Friday left to go here and I plan on being in bed before that happens for a change. I'm also hoping that the forecast wet can hold off so I can get some more of my trench dug out. Cheers. |

... And tipsy-turvy schedules...? I work 5:30 pm to 4 am Sunday through Wednesday unless they want overtime on Thorsday. |

Posting on a very gloomy looking Saturday morning in the highlands. I'm not sure if I'll get back to my earthworks today. Cheers. |

After blazing blue sky, spectacular views, polluting traffic (what happened to saving Ukraine by chilling out 10mph slower?), and... It's the weekend... Time for a beer! See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Well if we're suppose to get to 21C here today we're going to need something to get there. Oh well , at least I'm catching up on some domestic duties this morning. Cheers. |

80f here and I am drenched. Mowing and trimming. My yard needed attention. Time for a blended margarita. |

Well not long after resuming my trench warfare here the sun decided to come out and heat things up so I had to do a change of work clothes and after a couple of hours the temp here is about to hit the 21C mark with far too much humidity along for the ride causing some very dark clouds to form overhead now. Anyhow I'm going to have a cool down over a couple of beers now before returning to the grind. Cheers.. |
