Hi Everyone. Ok I'm totally lost with how to setup a computer (or the CPU) to crunch the numbers! Someone pointed out that if you don't have your CPU registered with SEti, that you can't get work loads.. Makes sense.. So how do I register my CPU with the program? Can someone PLEASE advise?? -dash ____________________________ www.jumppoint.org |

Run BOINC and select the projects tab, clic Attach Project and enter the info they sent to your email account. |

Hi Tech, I did. I entered the project URL and account number.. No problem. Infact, I see the Project title: SEti@Home and and account name DASH. But I don't see a computer listed under my name anywhere.. Nor can I find a place to set it up.. How do I set that up? ____________________________ www.jumppoint.org |

Yes I did... Five.. Does that mean it recognizes I have the cpu but hasn't displayed that info on my account yet? ____________________________ www.jumppoint.org |

Could be. It may just be waiting on completed WU. Or you can try cliking on the projects tab and right click on Seti@home project and hit update to see if that does anything. Have you completed any of them yet? and are you running it on a Windows PC? |

It sounds like it is setup correctly, try waiting for it to return a WU or two. If after that there still nothing repost to this thred and I'll do what I can to help you get it figured out. |

Could be that various functions ae still turned off on the website because of the problems over the last week. My guess is that all the info is already in the right place just not yet being displayed under your profile. Neil |

Also do benchmark on your system. ttyl Jeff |
