Forget Jingoism - I was thinking more of Imperialism. Without end.

Is that really a suggestion that the worst of Xi Jinping can be Trumped?!...

Desperately hopefully not!

Well v2.0 may get his war yet, but it'll be a civil war at home with him encouraging his far right wing nutters and them taking their firearms to protests and the 1st deaths are already on the board (sadly I expect that it will escalate). :-(

+1

Although I suspect that Donald hasn't got the intellect or knowledge to understand the "interesting times".

I see that Donny is suggesting people act illegally again. This time by voting twice, once by post and then again in person.

DT's demonstrating all the symptoms of being a scared despot. His first ploy at rigging the election has possibly been foiled so he tries another track by encouraging his supporters to vote more than once.
A question for our American contributors - is it illegal to incite others to break the law by voting twice in the same election?

As most election rules are local, I can't answer.

Oh and this double vote for King Donald, does this mean he knows he is going to lose so he needs more votes? Or doesn't he know that the second vote at the polls will be a provisional one and they will find the absentee ballot in the mail stack and take both uncounted to the courtroom to prosecute?

Just wondering...
how much lower can the bimbo get?
The magazine said Mr Trump also referred to former president George HW Bush as a “loser” because he was shot down by the Japanese as a Navy pilot in the Second World War.
Bush was shot down by intense AA fire on an attack in the Bonin Islands 76 years ago this month, something the current White House occupant knows nothing about as he got a deferment from serving.

President Donald Trump received military draft deferments five times — once for bad feet and four times for college.

... President Donald Trump received military draft deferments five times — once for bad feet and four times for college.

There appears to be a very unfortunate and disrespectful use of the term 'loser'...

Or 'just' yet more 'fake news'?

Trump panned over reports he called US war dead 'losers'
wrote:
... According to The Atlantic, Mr Trump cancelled a visit to a US cemetery outside Paris in 2018 because he said it was "filled with losers".

Four sources told the magazine he rejected the idea of visiting because the rain would dishevel his hair, and he did not believe it important to honour America's war dead.

During the same trip, the president also allegedly referred to 1,800 US soldiers who died at Belleau Wood as "suckers". The battle helped to prevent a German advance on Paris during World War One and is venerated by the US Marine Corps...

Is that yet another few chips and chunks Trumped off his own shoulders for five times failing to meet minimum military standards?

Fake news?

He sure does give his PR people a distastefully hard time!!

We all know why he called them suckers and losers. They were suckered and lost into doing their service and didn't enjoy the high privilege that Bone Spurs did. They did their duty, they didn't do criminal privilege.
Remember this is how he thinks of the average American, you, a sucker and loser.

That is my impression of Trump's approach also.

All very reproachful and harks back to the dark old days of 'untouchable despots'...

Except that Trump wields a PR team!

Another American doing the military service is of course John McCain .
Trump the "Genius" of course mock him as well:(
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/mar/22/im-not-a-fan-trumps-grudge-against-john-mccain-continues-even-in-death
McCain spent more than five years in captivity in Vietnam after his plane was shot down in 1967. He refused an offer of early release. Trump received draft deferments during Vietnam for bone spurs.

https://twitter.com/JenGriffinFNC Jennifer Griffin, Fox News, confirms the part of the story about Trump not going to Aisne-Marne Cemetery.
When asked if the President could have driven to the Aisne-Marne Cemetery, this former official said confidently "The President drives a lot. The other world leaders drove to the cemeteries. He just didn't want to go.
