Oh the corruption of v2.0 and his party show no bounds, but....

Trump AG Barr will escape impeachment thanks to 'corrupt' Republicans – Nadler.

Barr “certainly deserves” to be impeached and removed but will escape that fate because Republicans who control the Senate are “corrupt against the interests of the country”, the chairman of the House judiciary committee said on Sunday.

Jerrold Nadler, a Democrat, told CNN’s State of the Union he would instead take $50m from the attorney general’s “own personal budget”.
And Bolton fires back at an ever more irate #BlubberBoy.

Bolton doubles down on Trump obstruction claims amid bipartisan backlash.

Former national security adviser John Bolton said in an interview with ABC News that aired Sunday that he saw "evidence" that obstructing justice was a way of life for President Donald Trump.

"These were things that I could see some evidence of," he said, expanding upon the claim from his soon-to-be-released book "The Room Where It Happened." "And they bothered me greatly. I talked to the Attorney General about them. I talked to Counsel to the President about them. I've talked to other members of the cabinet about them and relayed my concerns. And they were very much on my mind."

Bolton added that Trump once said to Turkish President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan regarding a case involving a Turkish bank in the U.S., "look those prosecutors in New York are Obama people."
Meanwhile it looks like #BunkerBoy might be looking for a new campaign manager.

Brad Parscale faces Trump 'fury' after Tulsa comeback rally flops.

Trump 'furious' about 'underwhelming' crowd at Tulsa rally.

Then there's another big worry growing within the crooked GOP.

Trump allies see a mounting threat: Biden’s rising evangelical support.

What else can go wrong for Donny and the mob?

Why everyone who works for Donald Trump should be *very* nervous right now.
Things could be very interesting this week.
Time and time again during his presidency, Trump has made clear he wants all the credit when anything even tangentially tied to his administration goes right and none of the blame when things go wrong. (Call it the Michael Scott theory of management.) He will always find someone to blame when something goes wrong. But that person will never be him.
A narcissist believes they're never wrong.

According to Donald this is voter fraud.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/06/22/mail-ballots-are-coming-inside-white-house/
These dangerous scofflaws go by the names of Mike and Karen Pence.

Business Insider reports that in April, the vice president and second lady voted absentee in the Indiana primary, listing the Indiana governor’s mansion as their address, despite the fact that they left that home after Pence and the president were elected and now live in Washington.

The vice president’s press secretary claims that the Pences using their previous home as their address for voting is kosher because the vice president’s residence at the U.S. Naval Observatory “is temporary, office-dependent housing.” But that’s also true of the Indiana governor’s mansion — where a different family now resides — so it’s unclear what that’s supposed to prove.

The list of top Trump figures who have voted by mail (that we know about) now includes President and Melania Trump, Mike and Karen Pence, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Kellyanne Conway, press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar, Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel, and Attorney General William P. Barr.

Poor old Donny looked defeated after his Tulsa rally.

'Everybody hurts': Trump's sad 'walk of shame' after Tulsa rally delights critics.

That is a reporting style I've never seen from the Guardian newspaper before. Is the news surrounding Trump so... 'Surreal'?...

"... and the plaintive closing credits piano from the Incredible Hulk television show."

That's an Ouch!

And,

Why everyone who works for Donald Trump should be *very* nervous right now.

Things could be very interesting this week.

Sounds just like a stereotypical despot...

One curious outcome to watch?... Possibly televise that as the next series of Game of Thrones?!

Maybe v2.0's photo op will be more cause for him to rant about.

Watchdog to investigate clearing of protesters for Trump photo.

United States Department of the Interior watchdog office will investigate law enforcement and security forces' violent clearing of protesters from a square in front of the White House earlier this month.

The Interior Department's US Park Police and other forces in riot gear and on horseback released chemical agents and, at times, punched and clubbed a largely peaceful of crowd of demonstrators to drive the public from Lafayette Square on June 1, during nationwide protests over the police killing of George Floyd.

Only the usual Yank B.S. about it being looked into, but how can you trust people like Pompeo and Culvahouse and what they say? This is the last we've heard about it.

US police who attacked Sunrise journalists placed on administrative duties.

I ain't kidding
Well, one has to feel sorrow for the average American.
If he gets another 4 years in November, just watch that sorrow turn to pity.

Thanks for that. Scary stuff!

And that leads to some surreal reporting:

... But that is a much different message than White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany sent just a day before.

"No, he has not," Ms McEnany said ...

Mr Trump was "joking" and criticising the media for not reporting that the United States leads the world in testing, she added. (That is a false statement, however.)

But Mr Trump told supporters Saturday night in Oklahoma that he had given such an order...

So which of the multiple falsehoods is being reported as false?!!

He dredged the bottom of the swamp and look at what he got:
"You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right?" Clinton said. "The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic - you name it. And unfortunately, there are people like that. And he has lifted them up."

https://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/trump-losing-200622100832289.html
But in Tulsa, the reality proved more complicated.

The promised large crowds did not materialise and the relatively poor attendance of his much-publicised rally turned the hype into humiliation.

Contrary to Trump's assertions, fewer than 200 protesters were seen in Tulsa that day and they by far were not the main deterrent for prospective attendees.

Clearly, many of his supporters are not dying to hear his grievances and falsehoods during the pandemic.

Clearly, his tireless repetition of smears and satire is no longer as entertaining to his core supporters.

Clearly, he is losing control over his emotions and his tone, and the more he loses it, the more he loses support.

As people lose confidence in the president, so do the antsy and opportunistic political elites.

An increasing number of Republicans, including former generals and aides, are deserting his sinking ship; some out of fear for the party, not to mention the country's future in case of a Trump second term. Some reckon he poses a "danger to the Republic".

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Dozens of Republican former U.S. national security officials are forming a group that will back Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, people familiar with the effort said, in a further sign that President Donald Trump has alienated some members of his own party.

The group will publicly endorse Biden in the coming weeks and its members plan to campaign for the former vice president who is challenging Trump in the Nov. 3 election, the sources said. It includes at least two dozen officials who served under Republican Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, with dozens more in talks to join, the sources added.

They will argue that another four years of a Trump presidency would endanger U.S. national security and that Republican voters should view Biden as the better choice despite policy differences, the sources said.

The initiative is being led by John Bellinger III and Ken Wainstein, according to the people involved, who spoke on condition of anonymity. Both held senior posts under George W. Bush. Bellinger served as legal adviser to the National Security Council and State Department. Wainstein served as Bush’s homeland security adviser and as chief of staff to former FBI Director Robert Mueller.

Another member of the group, the sources said, is Robert Blackwill, who served as a foreign policy adviser under both Bushes and ambassador to India under George W. Bush. The group includes some independents and officials from outside the national security arena, the sources said.

“Trump pals around with dictators. He’s a real danger,” a person involved in the group said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Twitter puts warning on Donald Trump's tweet for 'threat of harm' against DC protesters.

Twitter on Tuesday put a warning label on a tweet from US President Donald Trump in which he warned if protesters tried to set up an "autonomous zone" in Washington DC they would be "met with serious force!"
"We've placed a public interest notice on this Tweet for violating our policy against abusive behaviour, specifically, the presence of a threat of harm against an identifiable group," Twitter said.
Twitter users, including Mr Trump's supporters, will be unable to retweet the offending tweet due to the measure.

Alleluia!

Here's hoping that Facebook and the other social media forums act likewise against such Presidential abuse and incitement for violence!

There really should be a law against spewing such harmful silliness... If only for the sake of Trump's peddling of 'intimidation'...

Is this all going to turn into a new "Downfall" meme? Has Bruno Ganz already been Trumped?!... Take your pick?

Apparently the Genius Trump haven't read this from the US Constitution.

First Amendment
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances

But he sure knows about the this.

Second Amendment
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Btw. He mentioned Sweden as a scary example at the Tulsa rally. What? How many in Oklahoma even know what Sweden is.
