Now advantage Sweden that will have opponents in the quarterfinal that get a bit more worn out in a match that is 120 and not 90 minutes:) |

I'm a lucky leprechaun & most of the money I use to bet with is either funds taken from the Lottery or the bookies. Only 25% of winnings are ever used, the other 75% always get banked :-) |

I'm lucky too .. only then I stopped .. I did not play anymore .. I saw that they were very unpredictable. |

One just has to weigh up the options. England are odds on for their next game. However England have a poor record against Sweden, so with odds of 7/2 put £50 on Sweden. If I lose, the bookies get some of their money back. If I win ... :-) |

Odds 7/2? I think here we would call that odds 3.5, meaning that if you bet £50 you will get £177.50 if Sweden win. If correct perhaps you should bet in Swedish betting offices instead. The odds is now 5.0 which would mean you would win £250 instead! Seems like we here in Sweden are more confident that England win then England is:) Former English football manager Sven-Göran "Svennis" Eriksson believes that England gets harder to beat Sweden than Brazil. "From my perspective, I think England gets harder to beat Sweden than Brazil. It will be England's most difficult match so far in the World Cup", "Svennis" says to Paddy Power. |

7 divided by 2 = 3.5 :-) 50x3.5=175 :-) |

SCOTTISH football fans have pledged their allegiance to Sweden ahead of the Scandinavian side’s World Cup quarter final clash with England on Saturday. Sláinte:) https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/983809/england-vs-sweden-world-cup-quarter-final-scotland-russia-2018 The Tartan Army failed to qualify for the finals so Scots are transferring their loyalties to whoever is up against the Auld Enemy at this summer’s tournament in Russia. |

Surprised that they don't have a pop at their cousins across the water :-) Made it to the Q/F's & if VAR had been about then, it would have been the S/F's :-) The best bet ever made in football was 12th June 1988 got 20/1 with a stake of £100 - Sorry England :-) Sorry Scotland |

Surprised that they don't have a pop at their cousins across the water :-) You mean like join Ireland? But why not. Pipes always come in handy when in battle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBKBI7DOLHA Oh. To Americans reading this. The UK has FOUR national teams in the World Cup! |

You mean like join Ireland? No, on our 1st ever appearance in the World Cup finals, we made it to the Q/F's. The Jocks have never got past the group stage :-) |

Of course. You mean like join Ireland? No, on our 1st ever appearance in the World Cup finals, we made it to the Q/F's. The Jocks have never got past the group stage :-) Paddies are better jocks than Jocks. BTW My nephew is a Scouser that is something like between a Jock and a Paddie:) |

Uruguay 0-2 France The only fun in the match was when Lloris was bothered by a close-up dragonfly who found it's way into Lloris mouth:) France will meet either Brazil or Belgium that will play later in this evening, in the semi final. |
