Couple of jobs back I was hourly. Company policy required the environmental manager(me) to be on site any time work was being done. When working on the high voltage lines of a solar plant, the work must be done at night. Hard to turn off the sun. We had about a week when we needed to correct some errors by a prior sub. I had 5 days of significant triple time. Even after withholding that was a very nice pay check.

And Mark I am older than you.

Overtime is nice if I get it. An extra ten hours on the paycheck is good. Plus two days to recouperate is a bonus.
