Looks like it could be used on the moon.

Possibly to scoop up green cheese?

(kind of a funky handle though)

Been away for a while and there so many good thoughts. I will not comment on each but simply say that the Admiral is looking in the right direction but I don't think there are clams on the moon. It would be used on fromage vert if the moon had been made of it and no it not a pointy pooper scooper. Rock hounds would love to use one but there were not many made. Don't space out on me guys, keep it to the local system. Two of the words in the name have been discovered Moon & Rock. Can anyone give it a name?

I didn't go to the moon to pick up rocks, I had to stay home that weekend and baby sit. LOL

What is it $10,000 for each pound taken to the moon and seen one playing golf? LOL

Made a creator in one shot? LOL

They used that for rocks I'd have to say ? Or squeezing tea bags on the way home. LOL

Looks like you would be wearing some bulky gloves when you operate it.

Is this a updated version of the tool I posted way back. My tool looked more like a wire basket you sifted to collect rocks.

I am going to give the win to Grant. While no one got the correct name:

Scongs

Grant described it's use with sufficent detail to earn the win.
Go for it grant.

Hmmm - looks a bit like the badly worn traction motor brush that arrived in the post today....
But that's not a tool.

So
How about a contour plane blade (used to cut fancy beading etc. in the days before power routers...)

You were a little quick on the draw Grant. I got what it does but Stargate named the tool.
Watched a video of how to use the "Mold Plane". Very interesting. I like the comment the video presenter said. "After cutting 300 hundred feet of molding. You could skip the gym on the way home."

I have a couple of dozen different molding planes. 300 feet of molding is lot of molding. The most I have ever made at one time is about 60. Yes you can skip the gym.
