I prefer mild taste like Lager called "Helles" in bavaria. :) I guess i`m the only bavarian who don`t like Weißbier. :( With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

Anyone heard of OeTTINGER beer? not a bad drop No. I am unfortunately not yet over 16. Oh. That was their homepage. Löwenbräu is quite good though. |

I've never heard of it, but I'm always up for something new and interesting. There's a couple of places here that sell exotic beers; maybe I might find it there? The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

G'day everyone, from a nice sunny (but windy) P.O.E.T.S. Day in the highlands down under. ;-) Well I've finally got my brewroom ready for another yeast feast this morning and tomorrow morning sounds good to get that feast started (barring any last minute interruptions/problems popping up). I'm not a fan those heavy dark brews as they sit heavily in my stomach, so I'll just stick with my lagers. Anyhow, I better start getting a few things ready for the BBQ this afternoon as Beer O'clock is only minutes away now. :-D Cheers. |

There's a side of lamb and a side pork that's been rotating for a couple of hours now, up around the corner, and it's smelling like it's getting close to ready now so I'd better grab my track rations (about 4hrs worth) and get going. :-D Cheers. |

I want photo's |

You got to admit that some pretty darn good beer's are coming out of these micro brewery's , coming with the flavor's of what you like rather the Coor's and Bud. I don;t know but Wiggo, do you change type of beer or pretty much stay brewing the same kind ? ' how much over all do you think the savings cost you making beer a bottle ? Cheers everybody Life is short so don't sip Beer speaks, people mumble |

G'morning everyone, from another sunny (but windy) start in the highlands. No I havn't changed my beer in 28yrs Grant (when on a good thing stick with it) and today for the price of 1 carton/case of beer from the bottle shop I can make 6 cartons/cases at home with a couple of dollars change left over. Sorry Stephen, no pic's, but we (about 30 of us) didn't leave much behind either, even the dogs looked at us as if to say, "couldn't you guys/girls have left a bit more meat on those bones for us?". Cheers. |

Around 4 o'clock this afternoon, I wandered in to a little place called Sergio's World of Beers, hoping to find something interesting since they boast 2000 bottled beers or so, plus about 40 on tap. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason to the way the beers were organized, and the bartender was not at all friendly. With just two customers at the bar, I sort of thought she might make a little more effort to answer my questions. I ended up trying something, and probably would have bought a bottle of something else to take home, but I didn't get a warm and fuzzy vibe at all, so I paid the $9 for the 6 ounce pour of Barrel-Aged Russian Blackout Stout, and left. I doubt I'll go back. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |
