Hi All, I just added my laptop the the project which runs a HD Graphics 530, however all units on the INTEL Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 (6487MB) OpenCL: 2.0 seem to be going into Validation inconclusive. The CPU time for all is lower than expected. Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this? I searched the forums but did not find anything so far. Thank you! |

Looking at your results for the system with the HD 530 graphics there are presently no Invalids, Errors or Inconclusives showing. There are quite a few pending, but there have been some reports that since the unexpected outage there's some issues with the Seti systems & some WUs being stuck in a validation limbo at the moment. Generally, running the onboard graphics tends to result in reduced performance overall compared to just crunching on the CPU and not making use of the iGPU. Grant Darwin NT |

The easiest way is from the website - under "project": Select the "account" menu option, then "preferences for this project", then "edit preferences" Select the "default" settings and un-check the "use Intel GPU" option. Save the changes. It may take a few hours to take effect, but you will stop getting tasks for your iGPU.
