Things aren't so black and white. You're too binary; you're too quick to label things evil (or is that Evil with a capital E?). They are merely different viewpoints. If you disagree, then tell them why you disagree and provide a persuasive argument as to why they're wrong. Vilifying them and acting as judge, jury, and executioner will not help the situation. You're not going to win the war of thought with absolutes. As a former history professor, you should know this.

Trump changed his views on four issues yesterday.
Is that negotiating?

1. After a meeting with NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg the White House said Trump that NATO "is no longer obsolete," something he as late as in January accused the alliance to be.
2. He said he is considering allowing the head of the Federal Reserve, Janet Yellen, have renewed confidence.
Last fall, he accused Yellen to keep interest rates low to keep share prices up and thus benefit the then outgoing president Barack Obama.
3. During the election campaign accused Donald Trump China to keep an artificially low exchange rate, which would destroy American jobs.
He promised to brand China as a currency manipulator from day one of his presidency.
Now, he claimed that China have not manipulating its currency for months.
4. Trump expressed his support for a credit subsidize American export company, Ex-Im.
During the election campaign he promised to close it.
His sudden change in the issue is likely to upset the conservative critics who argue that the Ex-Im "fertilize" capitalist corruption.
