It's been a while since I checked out what's going on, so has anyone heard what the status is for the -4 beta for Lunatics 0.45?

I'll write one when the current round of testing for SoG revisions has been signed off as complete and final. Since Jason has backed out of making any new CUDA builds for the time being, and nobody has come forward to update the CPU builds, I might even make it a full public release after testing.

On the other hand, there are rumours of a new Astropulse run for GBT data, which may or may not need an updated set of AP applications...

... Jason has backed out of making any new CUDA builds for the time being ...

Is it because the:
    a)  present CUDA builds are sufficiently matured,
    b)  Sog & sah are doing very well, or that
    c)  new CUDA builds would require major rewrites?

Hope the force remains with Jason and one day he can help us out again.
In the meantime, the kitties simply wish him well.
Meow, Jason.

I was simply reading this message from two days ago:

Yeah, for the Windows side, experiments went very well for the performance side of things, but quickly fell flat when considering general release needs.

Follow the link for the full explanation.

Sorry if I implied something, I only meant there could have been reasons, not necessarily that there were.

Thanks to Richard for the link
