Now German FM Steinmeier has warned Nato against "warmongering", after it conducted military exercises in Eastern Europe. Ah yes. The gas dilemma. Nord Stream is a pipeline from Russia to Germany passing the Swedish island Gotland in the Baltic Sea. Now in Brussels, Washington and Moscow the plans for a new Russian gas pipeline off Gotland have become big politics. The project "North Stream 2" is slated to threaten security and stability in Europe. But on Gotland they welcomed the project, many millions of Euros invested by Russia, and only worries of the safety of school children crossing streets in the town Slite:) In Slite harbor Pharmacies Quay, that actually is called Putin Quay now, is where all the pipes are prepared. |

Whatever way the vote goes we will have to live with it and only thing i'm fairly sure about is the result is going to be close maybe 47% / 53% either way . True, but there's no reason we couldn't have a bit of fun and guess :) I'll go first: 44% Remain 56% Leave (UK - Overall) 40% Remain 60% Leave (England only) Maybe a high-score of 70% Leave in a few of the "shires". |

EU tax raid When will that tax raid be? Every country in the EU have their own VAT rates and also many excemptions. It is impossible to have one VAT rate in all countries. Many countries would collapse. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Union_value_added_tax It would be nice for me if income tax was regulated by the EU in the same way though. I would be a winner:) |

Been delayed until the Autumn, but they will enforce should the vote be remain. “The Eurocrat answer to every problem is always more Europe. With just days to go until the referendum, the Brussels mask is slipping. We know they have grand plans for a European army and a single European country containing Turkey and other states. But there will also be plenty more mad initiatives coming down the track if we vote to remain. Their proposed single European tax code is just the next step on the road to introducing a single tax system." Will Europe accept German control over such a large army? Will that Army be called Wehrmacht? They will eventually want an Air Force & Navy so Luftwaffe? Kreigsmarine? Well, according to a US NATO general who fears rapid Russian deployment |

Well... In WWI, Germany went through Belgium on it's way to France. In WWII, Germany went through Belgium on it's way to France. Now, Germany is again using Belgium to 'take over' Europe... You guys actually expected anything different? <grin> |

Been delayed until the Autumn, but they will enforce should the vote be remain. The German Air Force is still called Luftwaffe. The Bundeswehr, as a result of serious NATO-Russian tensions in Europe, announced a major increase in defense spending. In May 2015, the German government approved an increase in defense spending from 1.3% to 6.2% over the following five years. Not only the EU is cracking up. NATO as well. And Russia are warmongering in the east... I have not seen any grand plans for an European army though. At the end of June the EU’s foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini, will outline a “global strategy on foreign and security policyâ€. That grandly titled paper will call for deeper EU security and military cooperation, an aim supported by many countries, including Germany. http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/may/27/is-there-a-secret-plan-to-create-an-eu-army |

A "spokeswoman" said, hmm. Long before this referendum was called, it has been the EU's intentions for some time for a European Army. To say otherwise now, is just a smokescreen to allay the Brexit camp. It has been covered on the other parts of this series. |

A "spokeswoman" said, hmm. It seems to be only Jean-Claude Juncker that have that intention. Juncker's vision that the EU should have its own army is not new and certainly not credible. None of the EU's great leaders but Luxembourg's like the idea. The EU doesn't even have a common standpoint to when or where it shall be used and who they will fight. Moreover, most EU countries have already a defense for the continent: NATO. 22 of the 28 EU countries are within NATO and have commitments, not least economic ones. The three most opposing countries to this is Ireland, Great Britain and Sweden. Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg are in favor. Germany somewhere in between with the other EU countries. Public opinion. http://www.europaportalen.se/2016/01/majoritet-eu-arme |

You cannot have an effective EU military forces until you have an effective EU foreign policy. |

So let me see if I've got this right... - Conservative Party voters hate Merkel because they watched their guy get stonewalled by Angela. Now they're watching their guy get even more humiliated by cheering "yeah but if we remain, the peanuts I got in the negotiations will get fast-tracked! Maybe." - Guardian readers hate Europe because all they've been reading for the past few years (or more) is how spectacularly incompetent the EU is... - Yet if LEAVE gets a majority vote tomorrow it's because the Independent Party waved a magic wand and turned everybody into Little Englanders. All I can say is: Aaaaaaahahahaha! |

Littered the continent, wasted billions on vanity projects. This is news to me that the EU are littering a continent. Here, we living next to the Baltic Sea, we have MUCH more problem then littering from a country you all know which. They are littery giving the sh*t about environment here and flush sewer directly into the sea. In Kaliningrad they still use the same sewer system like they did in the 19th century when the town was called Köningsberg! |
