Hello.

I have a RaspberryPi device model B+. I got a task 06no10af.5689.1703.9.36.86
but twice I catch an error:

Yes, It's a known problem on the the Armv6 Pi, seems to have been introduced with the 6.12.x kernel, and hasn't been fully fixed yet.

Hey Vitalii,

Are you running Raspbian? I am. I successfully ran a unit on my Raspberry Pi Model B+. Before I installed boinc I did :
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

This way I had the latest of Raspbian.

I'll try this. Thanks.
Actually before my RaspberryPi have successfully finished one task.
And only on the second one I got this error.
So maybe this problem appears only when processing some special kind of data in tasks.

Interesting. I processed one workunit with the Pi and then quit.

I've updated my Raspbian as you mentioned but today I've got the same error.

As an aside, there is an option to overclock the Pi2 from 900 to 1000 MHz. Noting that the chips were already pretty hot already running SETI at 900 MHz, I bought a couple of heatsinks, fitted them and dialled in the overclock. This resulted in 6 invalids and a hang.
Dialling back to 900 seemed to get things to validate again. So overclocking isn't recommended but those heatsinks were only £2 off ebay so probably worth fitting anyway.

My PI (not Pi2) is overclocked to 1GHz and it's temperature is 46 Celsius degrees. I can't say that the device is overheated.

Just checking the low hanging fruit.
    Do you have a decent quality power supply?
    Does it supply enough amps? For a Pi they seem to recommend ~700mA - 1.8A depending on model.
    Does it supply 5v, +-5% tolerance?
    Do you have anything plugged into the USB ports?

Have you tried stress testing the Pi to check its stability?

sudo apt-get install stress-ng

sudo stress-ng --cpu 4 --vm-bytes 10m --metrics -t 1d

You can try running that for a couple of hours to see. It is also kind of a litmus test of your power supply.

I'll do this later today. I also what to say that I run Einstein tasks for a year on this device without any error during all period. And even now when Pi runs Einstein tasks all is OK.
But maybe after a year my power supply is not so good as before.
I'll left the message when I'll have some results.

Thanks you all!

From the other thread, and credit to Raspberry Pi Brian for the code, my temp is non-overclocked:

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ #!/bin/bash
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ vcgencmd measure_clock arm && vcgencmd measure_temp
frequency(45)=900094000
temp=71.3'C

Have you got really good cooling or is your temperature not under load?

pi@raspberrypi ~ $ vcgencmd measure_clock arm && vcgencmd measure_temp

My device is placed on the table under the conditioner and has no case. Of course this temperature is under load.
