What do you think of my solution, and Historical reason it may work? Clyde I just reread this thread from the start looking for your solution, could you please cite it for us dimwits or else stop appearing to act like a troll. If you do neither then you are a troll. I realize in your own mind you know more than the rest of us. |

I liked the "Wars & Vanity projects" bit :-) Damn. Now I have to watch Snow wear that tie for 19 minutes 'cause I don't remember that bit at all :) |

I liked the "Wars & Vanity projects" bit :-) It was the Russian dude in the 1st part of the interview. Edit: 7m45s in. I had to double check myself :-) |

"... and our Russian businessmen were finding out about offshore accounts in the late nineties, while your lot has been polishing it's skills for about 150 years". I think it's the thick Russian accent using the idiom "your lot" that made me laugh so hard. That and the bitter fact that it's true, of course :) ... Oh dear, I forgot another great laugh: "I don't understand who opens offshore accounts in Panama. It's like going to Langley and saying, "Will you keep my money here?" ... Ah yes, being taxed for Wars and Vanity projects. Shame he got interrupted. I wanted to hear where he was going with that because I got the feeling he wanted to "bring that 'round" to a punchline. |

I liked the "Wars & Vanity projects" bit :-) That Russian dude. He is saying that Putin are not mentioned in the Panama documents. Of course not. Putin is a former KGB agent and a specialist in information and disinformation. However all of his Ozero friends are now billioners made of Russian tax payers money. |

Forget Panama, BVI, Cayman Islands & other small fry... ...they're are just the tip of the iceberg.. Massive trove of Paman Papers just a small slice ...the 2 major hubs are the USA & UK... ...wonder what the White House & 10 Downing Street have to say about that! |

True maybe, but he did state one very important fact... ...Russia has only been doing it since the late 90's whereas the West has had over 150 years in refining it to their hearts content. That cannot be denied, so agree with many that the instant mention of Putin last week was just a detraction from the "real" greedy B*****d's. |

Note: Will the people who use "Bovine Excrement" in their posts. Allow us to return to an Intellectual Discussion regarding Forget Wikileaks & Snowden :-)? Where have you done that on this thread? Still waiting to see "your" solution. A real intellectual would have provided it already rather than constantly B/S'ing. |

Neither are you, so go trolling elsewhere. Still waiting for that "solution". At least Alex stated that it appears that there may not be a permanent solution, you continue with yours. The difference between the 2 of you, is that Alex imparts useful information, whereas you just provide a broken record of a script. |

What do you think of my solution, and Historical reason it may work? Clyde since you will not cite your proposed solution. I stated Clyde I just reread this thread from the start looking for your solution, could you please cite it for us dimwits or else stop appearing to act like a troll. If you do neither then you are a troll I conclude you admit you are a troll. |

As I said: Alex is Intellectually Interesting. If that's your view which you are entitled to after all, it just shows that as a teacher, you are/were useless. |

A real intellectual will consistently teach until 1: he/she sees that the student grasps his or her views or 2: realises that the student disapproves his/her views & puts forward a view that the intellectual thinks about. Aw well your the 2nd "pseudo" intellectual we have on the boards. BTW, I'm a red blooded heterosexual male so what "outing" are you on about? :-) No thoughts on what Bernie Sanders said 5 years ago? As an intellectual Yank thought you might have something to say about that considering it's what this thread is all about rather than your individual pontificating. |

Wow. Thread exploded. Apologies for previous posts being out-of-sync again... was doing other stuff while posting. CLYDE, I honestly can't remember. The best I can remember is: - strong unions Unfortunately it's a subject I know nothing about. But I do have 2 quick pieces of advice, off the top of my head: a) create a thread about it. b) do us all a favor, quit being a sissy, come out of your closet and just vote for Sanders 'cause that's what you really want to do :D |

Hope you enjoy this Alex :-) Thanks Sirus I missed last weeks 4 corners , I knew I should have listened to the that little voice inside my head that was telling me to watch it . MM now the penny fails I have wondered why the Howard Government let the poms take control of B.H.P and why they where called to answer the Senate inquiry on tax dodging Oh my mister Turnbull your in a lot of trouble now . Abbotts nasty budget started the calls here 3 years ago for a inquiry and the Labour Party has gone with it like a dog with a bone calling for Royal commissions and stuff . They see a cash cow for what they have in mind for Australia Watch out world the Labour party and Greens and independents and the average ozzie are after your unpaid Taxes you rich greedy A/H Cool I mite get a pay rise on my pension when all this is settled and the budget is back in the black . And to think Aunty (ABC) was heading down the way of other commercial t.v stations till Abbott and the lib's started to threaten them with budget cuts just after they came to power 3 years ago unless they started to follow there charter , ops guess it has backfired as there producing very very good news story's now that are factual and honest Edit : ops click on the wrong post so it's should have been the 1 below the one I clickd on this one Well done Australia. To date, the best report I've seen regarding the Panama Papers, unlike the UK's Panorama feeble attempt. |

After watching that Aussie Report, they packed in a lot more information & reporting for only 15 minutes longer than Panorama's feeble 30 minutes worth. One thing did come to light: - Just how special that "special understanding" between the USA & Britain. :-) |

All we seem to have here is name calling and straying off topic. Any more and perhaps a cool down is in order. |

I still think you should make a thread. I may know nothing about Unions but a lot of my US "vetted sources of information" (LOL) keep saying unions need to come back. If you had a thread I would have dropped in links from time to time. Of course you'd have to sit through links about how the EU is totally anti-union and pushing it under the radar ATM ;) ---- Glad you guys brought up the Aussie ABC doc 'cause I missed it the first time 'round too. Old School BBC style. Love it! Mid-Nineties I was in Manchester UK studying Audio Engineering and then TV Production and Engineering. Docs are my bread & butter. They've taken me to over 20 countries. Stories for another day. Anyway the US & UK do have ugly trade agreements in place and the proposed Trans Pacific Trade Agreement is well... without exaggeration and for lack of a better word: a true abomination |
