Should I use Cuda50 on my GT610?

And do I need to run my cache down before switching?

Are you folks saying I should use Cuda50 on my GT430?

4.2 or 5 will work well, I'd guess probably 4.2 for that GPU, but probably you'd be splitting hairs to prove that on this GPU.

Yours also seems to be Fermi Class (compute capability 2.1) therefore same suggestion, probably 4.2 or 5, and splitting hairs to tell the difference

Switchover rerunning the installer *should* be trouble free in that simple case, though if worried about it, running the cache down first costs nothing.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

. . As Jason_gee said, CUDA50 should work well on your card. But if you are keen you might try both CUDA42 and CUDA50 to see for yourself which yields the best results. My GT730 which is an enhanced GT630 I believe runs well with CUDA50.

. . CUDA 50 should be fine but I would run the cache down before reinstalling Lunatics to change your options, just to be sure to be sure.

I re-installed Lunatics last night and now it seems to work pretty well. For some reason I suddenly have 101 timed out tasks, but I kept an eye on what it was working through and it's no longer showing computational errors and seems to actually be finishing the WU's. Huzzah!
