I've been mostly crunching APs, but I downloaded 11 V8s to see if they would run. They all errored out with this for Std Err: <core_client_version>7.6.22</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> couldn't start app: CreateProcess() failed - The system cannot find the file specified. (0x2) </message> ]]> As near as I can tell the executable named in app_info is there. If anyone has any suggestions before I allow V8 tasks again, I'm all ears. It's a guess but maybe it didn't install the correct apps into the setiathome file? Might want to try and reinstall lunatics and see if that corrects the problem. Of course, if you modified the app_info, you might want to write those down so you can make those changes again. If you use a app_config, it shouldn't be affected. |

I'll try reinstalling lunatics. I don't make any changes to app_info. The Universe is not only stranger than you imagine, it's stranger than you can imagine. SETI@home classic workunits 1,405 CPU time 57,318 hours |
