Geek Squad == Dumber than a box of rocks "tech support" that only can read what the computer screen in front of tell them what to say.

Just Google "geek squad idiots" https://www.google.com/search?q=geek+squad+idiots&oq=geek+squad+id&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=0&ie=UTF-8

I got my laptop back last night. They replaced the hard drive with a new one with the factory programs on it. I had them put Trend Micro Internet Security back on it. I had them show me where I go to make a restore disk. They said a 16 Gig flashdrive is the minimum I should use but 32 Gig would be better. So I bought two 32 Gig PNY flash drives. The first thing i did was make a Restore drive using one of them and it only used a little over 10 Gig of room. Now I have to download everything back onto my laptop using free wifi at places like McDonalds. It will take weeks to get everything back.

By the way, if someone wants to delete this whole thread, then that would be fine with me. I never intended it to be something saved for posterity. 8P

It might be more useful to move it to Number crunching where it should have been in the first place. I'm glad to hear you got it all sorted.

Mojo, if it's all sorted, just red-X the last message in the thread, and ask the Mods to lock it. It will then work its way down into the bit-bucket and disappear.
