9-Year-Old Milwaukee Girl Fatally Shot by Brother. Police say the girl's parents, a 29-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 32-year-old Milwaukee man, were arrested on multiple charges. Police will present the case to the Milwaukee County district attorney's office in the coming days.I hope that those stupid parents get life. No cheers. |

Those are red herrings, the issue is not the type of weapon but the magazine size. All the other factors pale compared to that.Magazines are a part of weapon of any type. To rifles they are now from 5 rounds to 100 rounds. But you have a point. Who needs a magazine more than about 5 rounds? Not hunters and sport shooters anyway. |

If you don't understand why semiautomatic assault rifles need to be banned, then read this I fail to see why any civilian needs a semiautomatic rifle. They are not needed for hunting or target shooting. If hunters think they need semiautomatics then they should give it up because they are useless and should leave it to someone else. Semiautomatic and automatic rifles are designed for the military to kill their enemies, they have no place anywhere else. The fact they have been around for many years is no excuse to say they should be available to the general public. |

You've just answered why semiautomatics are not required for the general population a magazine of 5 or even 10 rounds is useless on any automated rifle. |

You've just answered why semiautomatics are not required for the general population a magazine of 5 or even 10 rounds is useless on any automated rifle. I disagree, they are very useful for mass shootings. |

Those are red herrings, the issue is not the type of weapon but the magazine size. All the other factors pale compared to that.Magazines are a part of weapon of any type. I meant of course a magazine of 5 or even 10 rounds is not needed on any semiautomatic rifle. At war I think I need 100 rounds or more if possible to defend myself with an automatic rifle:) No time for reload. |

You're changing the subject again. We were talking about rifles not handguns. But I do think the max size of any magazine should be 10 rounds. |

Since magazine capacity probably has no chance of succeeding in most of the USA. Why not, already banned in D.C. and 8 states plus some Cities. And were also banned for 10 years during the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994. |

"Since magazine capacity probably has no chance of succeeding in most of the USA..." The mass shootings will continue, life matters less than individual than the freedom to kill as many as one can. |

Since magazine capacity probably has no chance of succeeding in most of the USA. If the question was put up as a referendum nationally or in each state. In the present climate, what would be the chances of it passing? POLITICO/Morning Consult Poll - Gun control support surges in polls - 02/28/2018 |

Why do you think the Florida Legislature just passed, irrelevant to Gun Control, measures? Because the politicians are scared of the NRA. |

Only because a so called English speaker doesn't know how to form a sentence in English. That is not true, he, if he is a male, is unwilling to form a sentence. |
