Some, as 'history' shall one one day be received in a far different life than mine her and now has been.

I can say, I have done much to infuse life into such lives as such were at least sufficient to be drawn like moths to such flame.

Don't know what exactly to say..............
Last week I expressed my disarray and sorrow after the passing of a good friend of mine, one James Franz, at the age of 61, and that put me in a bad way, in terms of thinking about my own mortality, as I am 58.

Today at work, I got the news that his BROTHER, John Franz, passed away also, at the age of 55, due to complications of cancer as well..............55.

Now I am really maudlin...........

Two brothers in about a week's time????

I knew both of them, tossed back beers and broke bread with them both.
I am very sad and...............just beyond words.

I'm still celebrating my 60'th birthday.
Now friends are starting to pass away:(
My mom 85 is still alive despite a stroke she got 2 years ago.
But now she is getting better.
Viking blood perhaps:)

Happy birthday.

And........kid.

Those who do not cherish me shall perish unto my watch.
All those who now do not redeem me an are they enjoyed upon my failures, shall one say fail themselves.
Life is given to those who believe. And unto others, it may be a curse.

In about 1 week I celebrate 61 years on this Earth.
I, too, have stood at the graves of good friends and schoolmates, Shipmates and Comrades-in-Arms. It is never easy. But it can be done. And you don't HAVE to revert to "the old ways" to celebrate their lives. You can be stronger than you think you are.

Did Lori know the Franz brothers? Perhaps she will go with you, for added strength and resistance?
