You are not the first, nor the last. But your demand will probably not be satisfied. It was 35-40 years ago. What sort of proof do you want, signed, notarized letters? Pictures?

This is Mark's thread, and most of us take a lot of what he posts with a large portion of salt. You can believe what you want, and disbelieve what you want. But challenging what Mark posts, and demanding proof, will get you no satisfaction.

Not a great week for the ol' kittyman.
Long work hours, just got done working 4 11's and 7 today.
Meowsigh, the paycheck will look good, I guess.

Went to the funeral of a good old friend yesterday morning.
James N. Franz. The owner/operator of the tavern Union Jacks, where I used to spend more hours than can be counted.
But, he was more than a bartender to me. Much personal contact over the years beyond the barstool. He did me many favors, and I tried to return all that I could in kind.
Passed a week ago at 61 after a very short bout with cancer.

A prince among men, and I shall miss him very dearly.

Let's just say that losing him as a man, and at an age not much more than mine, has set me back a bit.

This is what firemen do. Every day.
They save lives, sometimes with the help of my efforts every working day.

Yes, firemen save lives...None it too small to care for, even a kitten..

The poor kitten looks quite lifeless at first, but with the loving care of a fireman, he survives. Breath, kitten, breath.

Some of you speak of dreams.....I have them.
Or maybe nightmares....
This cut has haunted me since I first heart he tune on the radio in a company truck between plants.......
That night I looked it up and it has haunted me since....like one of those simple songs you just cannot get out of your mind.
Sometimes it is a simple tune, and sometimes it is something more.

Playing over and over and over until somehow sleep take over and puts me to rest.

This is not a simple....duh, I like that song.
And beyond anything I can control. I cannot shut it off, no matter how hard I try to think of something else.

It has been haunting me. Stalking me. Arrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Figure it out...........argghhh.....
