Maybe instead of saying "all Muslims," Trump could list a couple of middle eastern countries.

In 1942, the famous DEMOCRAT Franklin D. Roosevelt not only *executively ordered* stopping all immigration from Japan, Italy and Germany, he also *executively ordered* all Japanese, Italians and Germans currently in the U.S. to be rounded up and placed in internment camps because even though it was only a few radical imperialist, fascist and nazis who were creating the perception of an existential threat to our national security, and because we could not differentiate between the good ones and the bad ones, he grouped them all by country.

So, do you think this would be a better option for Trump to espouse?

Not that I agree with the internment policies set up by FDR, though by 1942 the US was at war with the three nations you list. I hadn't realized the US had declared war on all Muslims (or a couple of middle eastern countries).
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

Look at France and Germany, too.

What is the 'Problem' with The Entire West, is The Left and Secular Progressives.

They, and all of us, will 'Reap what they have sown'.

Unless the we can find a way to reduce the power and influence of The Left, and Secular Progressives. Without a Trump.

Germany couldn't. Pray we can.

The fascism was already here. The Left has never attained the level of power some believe. An arrow aimed at the right will be shifted to the arrow at the left, easily destroyed while the right chokes on its own blood.
Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes.

Another lie from Donald Trump
Trump wrote:
"We have places in London and other places that are so radicalized that the police are afraid for their own lives.."

London police spokesperson wrote:
"We would not normally dignify such comments with a response, however on this occasion we think it’s important to state to Londoners that Mr. Trump could not be more wrong ... Any candidate for the presidential election in the United States of America is welcome to receive a briefing from the Met Police on the reality of policing London.""

I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

Will he bolt the GOP??

Poll: 68% of Trump’s supporters would vote for him if he bolts the GOP

WASHINGTON — Donald Trump not only continues to lead the Republican presidential field in a new USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll. The overwhelming majority of his supporters also say they would vote for him if he bolted the GOP and ran as an independent.

A November 23rd analysis stated:

he has 25 to 30 percent of the vote in polls among the roughly 25 percent of Americans who identify as Republican. (That’s something like 6 to 8 percent of the electorate overall, or about the same share of people who think the Apollo moon landings were faked.)

It amuses me to think they are one and the same. :-)

Poll: 68% of Trump’s supporters would vote for him if he bolts the GOP

I will not fret over my tea as yet. :-) A rudimentary calculation intimates that only five percent of your electorate will take leave of their senses should he do so. Or did his stance on arthrogryposis sufferers (revealed on the 26th) increase his support?

Well, I started this thread and now I am even more convinced that I cannot vote for him in any office, let alone the Presidency. I also can't see myself voting for Hillary. Who is the Libertarian candidate?

There really isn't one. The closest we have is Rand Paul, son of Ron Paul (who is a bit closer to Libertarian but still off base IMO), but he affiliates himself with the GOP instead, and I don't think he's running for President.

It would be nice if we could get a real Libertarian candidate to move forward, but it seems every time the Libertarian party gains some traction, it gets swallowed up by psychopaths and narcissists with their own agendas (see original Tea Party vs. current day Tea Party, a.k.a. the "Freedom Caucus House").

If the GOP weren't so damned science-ignorant and filled with religious fundamentalists, they would actually be worth voting for. Sadly we're left with the Democratic party.

Trump UK ban petition passes 329,000 signatures

A petition calling for Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump to be barred from entering the UK has gathered more than 329,000 names, so MPs will have to consider debating it.

Any petition with more than 100,000 signatures is automatically considered for debate in Parliament.

In other developments:

Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has stripped Mr Trump of his status as a business ambassador for Scotland.
Aberdeen's Robert Gordon University has revoked Mr Trump's honorary degree, which he received in 2010 in recognition of his achievements as an entrepreneur and businessman.
One of the Middle East's largest retail chains, Lifestyle, has withdrawn Donald Trump products from its shelves following his comments.

Disgusting. To any Tolerant, Ethical, and Civilized Country.

Typical Left Wing, Secular Progressive...

IIRC, The Brits bans hate speech,, that is their law and what the Donald has said could easily be classified as such and would be a felony in Great Britain. The Donald wants to keep felons out of this country as the Brits want to keep them out of theirs. What is good for the goose is good for the Donald.

Well...

Any Hate Speech Laws (Crimination) regarding saying: Jews are..., Christians are..., Muslims are, Men are..., Women are... Asians are..., Whites are..., Heterosexuals are..., etc.

Would Criminate Left Wing Speech and Right Wing Speech.

Hmmmmm... Not a bad idea. Let's start with The Left, and then move on to The Right.

It's a terrible idea, started by a right of center government (under Prime Minister Thatcher, source) and added to by successive governments, both left and right. The UK's hate speech laws are an abomination if one values freedom of speech; fortunately there's been some movement away from the worst excesses of these laws (e.g. "insulting" speech is no longer included).

Criminalization of any Speech. Without any Criminal Action(s):

Is an atrocity, disgrace, horror, obscenity, outrage, evil, crime, monstrosity, and anathema to Western Civilization.

Cry "fire" in a crowded theater is an exception to you absolute statement.

I'm still not sure if Trump really thinks he's going to get the nomination, or if he's going to run as an independent, or if he actually thinks he could win the presidency. There's a part of me that thinks he just likes the attention, and another part of me thinks he actually is trying to do something transformative for the country. ~If he does run as an indie, maybe it could help loosen the Democrat and Republican strongholds in politics.

I am seriously leaning that way.
I know some of his rhetoric is off the cuff, but I can think of no other person other than Trump that could finally cut through the bull in Washington, disrupt the 'good ol boy' network and possibly get our government to start working for the people they represent again.
Those in power are seriously scared of this guy, and not for his policies, but for his threat to their stranglehold on power and corruption.
