Ah the intelligence of a voter for Trump: He might even think of bombing here In 1917, Ruth Putnam printed an exhaustive account of the work performed up to that time. She wrote that both Calafia and California most likely came from the Arabic word khalifa which means steward[6] or leader. The same word in Spanish was califa, easily made into California to stand for "land of the caliph" خلیÙ, or Calafia to stand for "female caliph" خلیÙÙ‡ And a few other smaller places, Mecca in Indiana, Medina in Idaho, Medina in New York, Medina and Hazen in North Dakota, Medina in Ohio, Medina in Tennessee, Medina in Texas, Medina and Arva in Ontario, Mahomet in Illinois and Mona in Utah |

Ah the intelligence of a voter for Trump: LOL. But hopefully Trump has a better geopolitical knowledge than his voters in this poll. Only 500 people was asked. But I have some doubts:) |

Ah the intelligence of a voter for Trump: Maybe your next brief screen name change should be to "Whining Guy"? ... You are ... CORRUPT ... and we are no longer accepting open or closed statements or questions from you until you admit the error of your ways. We will, however, listen to the same things you would say, if said by an intelligent person that admits to being a human being. ... Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

Is this for real? Yes, unfortunately, very much so. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_Policy_Polling http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/ Survey says: http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/2015/GOPResults.pdf |

The conspiracy theories of extreme right and far left threaten democracy thought this might interest Clyde. Didn't realize the piece on Yale amounted to a formal survey. Do we know what percentage of those interviewed advocated the repeal of the 1st Amendment? Do we know what the Republican vs Democratic breakdown was of those interviewed? Do we even know that those interviewed in the piece were matriculated? (click here if you don't want to guess the answers). So, what makes passing judgment on Yale students based on this piece any different to prejudice? Nothing. I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

So, what makes passing judgment on Yale students based on this piece any different to prejudice? No nerve hit. I am neither a Trump supporter nor a former Yale student (and I am not sure I know any from either group). That a significant number of Trump supporters advocate the bombing of a fictional city has been found by a formal poll, that Yale students want to repeal the 1st Amendment has not, thus these details are not equivalent and changing the target may not be appropriate. Given these circumstances, why do you believe that your point was valid? I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

Those on the 'Left' are just as 'drain bamaged' (regardless of any of his more disgusting behaviors, Cosby did have some good phrases in his comedy routines) as those on the 'Right'. Neither the Right nor the Left have any claim to moral or intellectual superiority. Both sides of the Aisle have serious issues with their policies. Trump... Sanders... both are clowns. Clinton, however... has way too many legal issues involving her to be qualified to be POTUS, IMO. And as far as 'formal' polls... Yeah right... most all of them are designed to come up with a specific answer. Doesn't matter WHO runs them. All must be considered to be bogus propaganda. That said, there are a remarkable number of people in the world (and it is not just US Citizens!) that could stand a lot more knowledge and understanding of both history and forms of government of many of the nations of the world. The fact that a few US Citizens answered some nonsense on a couple of polls is not remarkable. Fault, if there is any, belongs to the organizations that designed and administered the polls. Many of these 'opinion polls' are the equivalent of trick questions... I would even go so far as to say they are the polling equivalent of Groucho Marx's famous question... "Have you stopped beating your wife?". It is not possible to answer some questions (and they are designed that way) without appearing to be a total and complete idiot. Trump would be as bad for the USA as Sanders. But, both are preferable, in my opinion, to Clinton due to her history. |

Did you look at the pdf linked by Gary? If so, how do you believe the questions are designed to come up with a specific answer? If not, you're handwaving. I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

Clinton, however... has way too many legal issues involving her to be qualified to be POTUS, IMO. She is an empty pant's suit. The fact that she didn't leave Bill was all I needed to disqualify her as anything but an opportunistic leach. I am far from being a prude; but Jeezsh ! |

Looks like Trump has a bunch of legal issues to be resolved, like Clinton. I wonder can you be POTUS from a jail cell? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donald-trump-jeb-bush-right-to-rise_5669d5e7e4b0f290e5227593 The complaint letter is priceless: http://big.assets.huffingtonpost.com/Trump-Letter-and-Complaint.pdf |

It's hilarious how some self-proclaimed centrists indirectly claim moral and Looking from the outside, I would have thought the opposite applied. At the moment any attempts at passing any laws, seems to be a struggle because those from the other side, will say that this is an attempt to impose extreme measures and automatically vote against the motion. Therefore nothing gets done, until absolutely necessary and at the last minute, like funding for the government departments. This seems to happen every year recently. If the parties were closer to the centre, then the opposition might say there is some mileage in those suggestions, we will vote for the motion with these slight amendments. And I must point out, in general from a world viewpoint US politics are actually more central than extremist. The extremes would be Fascism on one side and Communism on the other. |
