We up here in the Land of the Free, and
the home of the Cold, believe that it
is shameful how you folks are picking
on the poor old Donald. He's a good man!

The Donald gave a speech today and in it he says Free trade doesn't work unless you have intelligent Leaders .

Be careful about this man . He says "free trade only works with intelligent leaders "

What he meant was he's all for free trade so long as they (leaders) are prepared to manipulate markets pay rates and everything that goes with it .

This is not free trade

Or in other words he's all for it corruption !! and is smart enough to word his speeches so most will not be able to read between the lines .

Be careful of a man prepared to sell his sole for money and power .

Yeah well, Glenn.
I am getting a bit tired or your bashing the USA.
Frankly, it's not your bit, so please shut your mouth about it.
We elected a moron for president, and some of us admit it. I did NOT vote vote for him the second time around.

You have quite a mouth on you, bashing things you have no stake in.

Best you settle down and quiet yourself, please.

We in the states shall work it out, without your commentary.

Glenn a little more reading and a little less shouting please.

Marks statement was he did not vote for him second time round, he may well have voted for the other guy, perhaps.

So before making assumptions, perhaps it might be best to get the facts first.

As far as I am concerned there is never a need to type in all capitals on these boards.

Just my 2 cents.

I will say the Donald has rasied issues that should have been talked about, But were not. Immagration for one, Amensty for another.
Sure he says stupid stuff. But he will answer the question. How many of the mealy mouthed idiots who run give a non answer?
Hes only bringing up issues that should be openly talked about. But NO we have to suck up to the voters and say nothing that can be used against us.
And then we wonder why get it up the keyster no matter who we vote for.

Message 1712359 - Posted: 13 Aug 2015, 16:10:23 UTC - in response to Message 1712187.

The problem is that the immigration "issue" is a false misdirection from real issues. It is only a means to attack Latino-Americans with unabashed racism, and unfortunately it has caught up people in the faux debate that wouldn't otherwise be racist.

The truth is that the country is not being torn apart by illegal immigrants coming in from the Mexican-American border. Those that have entered illegally over the decades have paid into our Social Security fund (under false names so they can work) without getting a dime out of it in retirement.

But this entire faux debate has made everyone question every Hispanic person they see, or even hearing talk in their native tongue! I do not see this same annoyance with those speaking Polish or Russian in our country; only the Latino community gets that kind of distrust.

Forget about immigration. It's not even a real political issue. We should be more worried about our own government spying on it's citizens illegally, and the FBI using shell corporations to fly drones over major cities for surveillance

Disagree about the seriousness of Anti-Latino Immigrant perception.

Almost all new Immigrants, starting with the (fill-in the negatives) Irish in the 1840's, the Jews, the Italians, et al. Is what the USA historically, and culturally, says about them.

Nothing new.

BTW: These Latino Immigrant Grandchildren, will be saying the same thing about...

Nothing new.

Not sure what it is you're saying you disagree with. If I'm reading you correctly, you're saying that all throughout American history have we said bad things about immigrants. I'm well aware of these facts and my comments did not allude that this is untrue.

What I am saying is that I don't think it is right to continue on doing so. And Trump is a f------ moron for doubling down on stupid by insulting such a large percentage of the electorate. Even Latinos in this country legally will have ties with their illegal brethren who hope they are allowed to become legal one day through amnesty.

I'm sorry, James, but immigration was most definitely being talked about before Trump announced his candidacy.

You forget today Mr. Trump is only talking to the tea party today. (He'll deny everything on the day after nomination!) He can't be any more literate or the average tea party dolt won't understand him. Unfortunately these troglodytes are allowed to vote. At least the only good thing is he has at best 1/4 of them and they are at best 1/4 of America. So he only has 1/16 of the country duped. Of course that is far too many bigots running around.
