Wow, I didn't know the UK was that powerful...

Full force of the R.A.F

... 4 planes!

Nice Defence Secretary we have...

"You go now into this full-bodied mission with your orders and with your training. But I want you to know also you go with the backing of the government and the people of Britain."

"precision" drone strikes

Funny, I hadn't heard about an explosive where you can program the yield from 1 to 1000 pounds while it is in the bomb bay. Can you point me to a data sheet?

Now what?
The Iraqi foreign ministry has summoned the Turkish ambassador to demand that Turkey withdraw troops it sent to an area near the northern city of Mosul.

Killed after posing for pictures, the five-year-old victim of Russia's airstrikes on Syria
no comment, just too disgusted.

How long before photos showing those of R.A.F doing the same appear?

They using their own technology, or can they blame the US's? Or is that irrelevant now we know US drone operators see kids as "fun-sized terrorists".
This is what happens when jihadists kill children in Pakistan but 142 children and 726 innocent adults can be slaughtered during "precision" drone strikes by the US on just 24 of Pakistan's nationals, killing just six of them, and only the next wave of extremists care? Sick double standards everywhere you look these days.

Drones are disgusting!
They have a hit rate about 60% to "enemy" targets at best.
The operator doesn't know if it's the enemy or not and have to rely on intel from the ground!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drone_(2014_film)
In tiny bunkers in the United States, young pilots are operating unmanned drones targeting 'bad people' in Pakistan. Recruited at video game fairs by military leaders who know the value of games that glamourise 'militainment', drone pilots are left traumatised by the civilian casualties – or 'collateral damage' – their strikes cause. Psychologically distanced from the enemy, are drones the future of warfare?

War on terror seems to be using terror weapons.
Does that make sense?

Since almost half of Iraq is controlled by Iran, and the Kurds.

Why do we continue to call Iraq a Country?

Perhaps it is time to update our Maps. Which were drawn by the British, many years ago.

So why didn't the US redraw the lines during their recent occupation?

They should be awarded The Nobel Peace Prize, every year, for the next century.

The Nobel Peace Prize are awarded to those who have "done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nobel_Peace_Prize_laureates
The awards given to Mikhail Gorbachev,[22] Yitzhak Rabin, Shimon Peres, Menachem Begin and Yasser Arafat,[23][24] Lê Đức Thọ, Henry Kissinger,[25] Jimmy Carter,[26] Al Gore,[27] IPCC,[28] Liu Xiaobo,[29][30][31] Barack Obama,[32][33][34][35] and the European Union[36] have all been the subject of controversy. The awards given to Lê Đức Thọ and Henry Kissinger prompted two dissenting Committee members to resign.[37] Thọ refused to accept the prize, on the grounds that peace had not actually been achieved in Vietnam.

To say that The Nobel Peace Prize is controversial is an understatment.

Still think the US should have done it, got Kurdistan to join NATO and then put some semi-permanent bases there.

Would have got right up the nose of Putin. Especially if you encouraged diplomatic complaints about cruise missiles fired from the Caspian sea.

A true Kurdish State. Would include part of Turkey.

They are historical enemies. The Turks committed Genocide against them, after WW1.

Having spoken, over the years, to those who were, some recently, embedded with the Kurdish Peshmerga Forces.

They all say the Kurds are Moderate in their Religion. And do protect Christians, and their Churches.

I do have some knowledge of the area, my friendly watch and clock restorer is an Armenian.

An interesting concept

And extremely worrying...

"Small drone evolution means that most powerful military in the world is no longer in control of the future of airpower. The ultimate weapon will be in the hands of anyone with access to smartphone technology. This includes other countries, as well as non-state actors like ISIS and Hezbollah and even the hacker group Anonymous."

The flying minefield idea is a scary one.

I see a business opportunity here:)
I wonder how many deadly drones you could buy for the same prize of one F-35 Lightning II...

In no manner is this post meant to be discourteous.

'Evil' never learns.

My endeavours to make sense of an entirety of a post made by your good self, Sir, is proving injurious to my mental health. If the fault lies with me, I hope, in time, to do more than respond to a mere fraction of one such communication.

Russian air strikes in Syria have killed hundreds of civilians and caused massive destruction in residential areas, striking homes, a mosque and a busy market, as well as medical facilities, in a pattern of attacks that show evidence of violations of international humanitarian law, said Amnesty International in a new briefing published today.

Al Qaeda’s branch in Somalia released a recruitment video on Friday that criticized racism and anti-Muslim sentiment in the United States and contained footage of the Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump announcing his proposal to bar Muslims from entering the country.

How long before the Sunni Shiite war starts?
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/M/ML_SAUDI_ARABIA?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2016-01-03-19-04-00
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) -- Saudi Arabia announced Sunday it was severing diplomatic relations with Shiite powerhouse Iran amid escalating tensions over the Sunni kingdom's execution of a prominent Shiite cleric.

The move came hours after protesters stormed and set fire to the Saudi Embassy in Tehran and followed harsh criticism by Iran's top leader of the Saudis' execution of Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr.

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir said Iranian diplomatic personnel had 48 hours to leave his country and all Saudi diplomatic personnel in Iran had been called home.

BTW: You don't really believe that Successful Mass Murdering Movements are either Intellectually Superior or Competent, regarding anything besides Mass Murder.

Do you?

No, why do you ask that inane question?
